Sandeep Sood is an up and coming Renovation and Design Specialist in the San Francisco Bay Area. “Hailed as a design force to be reckoned with,” by renowned Bay Area Artist Reshma Azmi, Sandeep is an entrepreneur and Founder of Renovation and Design. He was born on December 14th, 1973 and raised in Chandigarh, India, a city designed by famous French Architect Le Corbusier. Sandeep developed interest in architecture and design at a very early age. As a teenager, Sandeep studied Corbusier’s unique design of his city, which is lovingly called, ‘The City Beautiful” by its inhabitants. Corbusier’s simple yet practical design of Chandigarh inspired Sandeep to design and create. The simple yet elegant style is his mantra. Sandeep earned his Diploma in Civil Engineering from Chandigarh college of Engineering and Technology, Sector 26. After graduating he was hired by Kalsi Construction Group to supervise the building construction of Advanced Pediatric Center as a Site Engineer in the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). After completion of this project, Sandeep supervised the ambitious extension project of Hotel Mountview, a landmark hotel in Chandigarh. During these years, Sandeep read and studied hard in pursuit of mastering the construction, design and practical aspect of building construction, renovation, and restoration. Sandeep moved to the Bay Area in 2004 after living in Phoenix, Seattle and Racine, Wisconsin. Working and excelling at various corporations, he finally realized his true gift and passion after painstakingly renovating his own home. Going through the challenges of home renovation himself, Sandeep founded Renovation and Design. Sandeep’s design philosophy is unique. He likes to tell story of the inhabitants in his design. Every piece has a place in the larger story. His motto: “Design should never say, ‘Look at me.’ It should always say, ‘Look at this.’” At present, Sandeep is involved with many projects in the Bay Area at various stages.

Angel An, TV Personality
Angel An, who has an M.A. in Multimedia Communications from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, comes with production experience both on-camera and behind-the-scenes. She was hosted the community calendar segments in KTSF’s news broadcasts on the Syncbak mobile platform and comfortably works in many different roles in the newsroom for operations and editorial support, like transcriber, proofreader and news writer. In 2011, she assisted ad-hoc projects for National Geographic Traveler Magazine focusing on featured stories as the special correspondent and accomplished an exclusive interview with City Lights’s books buyer, Mr. Paul Yamazaki. In 2010, “Lonesome Hearts”, which is one of the student film project she was involved in as the assistant director, was award nominated for Best Narrative Film in the Shanghai International Film Festival in the China-U.S. student section, and nominated for Best Narrative and Best Director in the Vision Youth Film Festival in Beijing. She is outgoing and loves helping people. Furthermore, she is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

Angelica was born and raised in San Francisco. Growing up in the Sunset District on Yorba Street, she could hear the monkeys down the street at the local zoo. She loves the city so much that even after attending preschool, elementary, and high school in the Sunset District,she went on to college in the city as well, where she studied Merchandise Product Development at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), and Marketing & Management at The Art Institute of San Francisco. Her humble yet fun personality makes it a breeze at meeting new people and making amazing connections. She is open to trying new things and discovering what makes people click!
